[she's wandering through all the newly changed areas, which brings her to the medical center soon enough - but she pauses as she sees someone else inside. after a moment of silence, spent looking around the area:]

It seems useful.

[November has been checking the pods with a lot of attention! Pretty much trying to determine from sight how they work -- if someone gets in, will they get submerged into liquid like the monsters used to be? Oh, that's a thought!

Upon Vin's arrival all he can do is nod, seemingly puzzled by the pods]

They should be. If this does what I think it does, we're very lucky.

[allomantic]

[glancing at the pods with a tilt of her head.]

What do you think it does?

The good news is that I'm sure it has medicinal purposes. The bad news is that I know nothing about the principles behind it, so I shouldn't be the one to explain them to you.

[November slams a hand against the pod]

Would you refuse if I asked you to get in to see how it works?

[allomantic]

[almost immediately:]

Yes, I would refuse.

[thejkdefense]

I thought so.

[Nobody wants to take these on a joyride. Well, not that he would either! He has been asking people around to see if someone will, and of course, nobody said yes]

Perhaps we should leave this to Su. She's the doctor in our group, after all.

W1 Medbay -- after CYOA

[Well damn, this kid got pretty injured. That's too bad.

November could afford to seem more sympathetic, all things considered, but he's here. That he's here shows at least some concern. He doesn't really consider Vin a friend or anything even close to that, but he does have some interest in Vin in general.

Hey, you conscious?]

[allomantic]

[she is! as she comes out of the pod, it looks like her injuries are stable - only just beginning to heal and still very present, but she isn't actively bleeding anymore. she pauses when she sees him.]

...Hello. I didn't expect you to come.

[thejkdefense]

[Ah, she is conscious. Excellent.

Upon being told that, November shrugs]

Is it really so strange? Checking on you all is the least I should do. There have been a lot of injuries today.

[And as much as he hates to say it, a lot of these injuries are to people he gets along with, so he has to check, yup]

[allomantic]

I suppose so.

[she pauses, though, as she decides what to say next.]

I will be fine.

[thejkdefense]

[Hmmmmm]

Is this the first time you have been this injured, Vin? Just asking.

[It's a question he has asked others too, admittedly]

[she shakes her head.]

No.

w1, sunday.

[allomantic]

[here she is on the rooftop! there's a frown on her face, but she looks over when she notices she isn't alone. she has a friend sitting next to her.]

...That was certainly a sight to see.

[and not in a remotely positive way.]

It was. That was no execution, that was torture.

[What other word is there for an extended sequence of events including the sight of Ryunosuke's death and what not? Perhaps Kazuma should have chosen the fight with a peer]

[nodding]

It was certainly different than the others I've seen. If this place pulls from our experiences, it must have been people he recognized in there... But I do not understand the purpose of such things.

I can only assume it was to break him. This place seems to revolve around what we feel and think -- perhaps the Prism was trying to get him to despair.

[allomantic]

[she shrugs.]

It is, but... The way I have heard it explained, it reacts to what we already feel and think. I do not think any of us were hoping for or expecting that.

Week 3 --- Sunday

[thejkdefense]

[Today has been a day, hasn't it?]

I suppose that nothing could have prepared anyone for everything that happened today.

[Which, coming from November, is indeed a sign things were pretty unnerving. He's not losing his composure but he's definitely not feeling as calm as usual]

[allomantic]

[it's certainly been a day! she tilts her head, frowning a little in thought.]

Given what the... infection, or refraction, or whatever we are calling it - given what it forces people to do, it's probably better that he succumbed to it quickly. He could have continued to hurt other people if we didn't realize.

[which feels callous to say, but.]

It seems he was a culprit who escaped getting caught. It's likely there's one left to be found -- and so far there's no reason to think they will be found before they succumb to refraction like Malik.

[Many would say it's a little callous to discuss this in such a detached manner, but better to keep a chill mind, he'd say! Which is why he does, yup]

[allomantic]

...I suppose we will find out one way or another.

As long as we don't find out right before they kill us all.

[Looking likely, really!]

NIGHT BEFORE ENDGAME

[Well! Looks like everything has spiralled into a mess, eh?

November's refraction has made him kind of giddy over everything, looking forward to tackling it on. For someone who usually takes everything with alarming coldness, this was a bad sign. Still, so far, he had managed to suppress it somewhat.

It led to him talking to others about what was ahead, though:]

Do you feel prepared for what may come?

[allomantic]

...It is hard to say, when it's difficult to predict what may happen next.

[but, that being said:]

I am ready to do everything in my power to make sure we defeat him.

[thejkdefense]

Good. I see no way for this to end peacefully. What he did to the residents is as good as a war declaration.

[And the eyes seem like a taunt!]
