You've heard that some people have received multiple gumballs when putting in three tokens instead of the one gumball they'd hoped for? It happened to me, and for some reason I felt as though if I used one of them, I could reverse that bad luck. Since I'm on Amber, I was hoping to get the gumball that can remove a curse or refraction. The gumball I used on the two of them was only one token, so it seemed like it would make more sense to use that, then exchange the other one for two tokens. I know the way Hot Pants and Garou acted under that gumball, but the description said enemies or rivals, so I imagined if I used it on two people who are much more even tempered, the effect would not be nearly so bad. You can be civil with an enemy, after all. I did not mean to distract during the meeting, but I thought it would be better to use it in a public space so if they argued and it became more heated, someone would be able to separate them.

... Someone did separate, so you're right in that regard. And things turned out okay in the end.

It could have been... Assuming I'm correct and the same thing was used against us, we had no reason to hate each other, but those feelings were still intense.

It would make sense if the same thing was used on us. Or, at least, like you said, someone transferred it back with another gumball. We started to feel off about the same time they returned to their usual selves.
No one has approached me about it, but if you feel someone thinks it was you, you're free to tell them the reality, of course. I only wonder how you were wrapped up in it...
